This was a surprise to me, since as far as I knew, Chromebooks were super-cheap devices for kids. When the presentation was over, I went up to him and asked, “Dude, so what actual laptop is in your bag that you really use?” He said, “No, for real, I actually use a Chromebook." He did the entire presentation from a Chromebook, and made a comment to the audience about how it was his primary computing device.
